Desperation
Saturday, March 01, 2008 @ 1:32 PM
desperation either makes or breaks you.
in desperation, you'll either do the right or wrong things.

it's crazy how we tend to forget that painful experience after making a mistake.
you tell yourself you're gonne be better than that.
you put in effort and after time, everything just goes down.
all for that very one minute where you committed the same mistake.
that crucial one minute changes all the hours of your life.

now, you just wish that you could turn back time.
but it's too late.
that leaves you begging for another chance at making things right.

but how many chances can one give?
how many chances should one get to finally make things right?

it does take many, if not infinite, tries to get yourself to where you are supposed to be.
happy, loved and thankful.

have you ever felt so sorry and remorseful that you'd put your life on the line to make it all up to that person you've wronged?
sounds desperate.
but you shouldn't take it as desperation.
it's remorse, regret, motivation and love all in one, commonly mistaken as desperation.
the more one feels remorse, regret, motivation and love, it will then be commonly perceived as crazy.

but is it really crazy to love someone so much?
i'll say that it's brave.

it's even braver for one to give someone another chance.
i'll say he deserves utmost respect.

i know that i've been so wrong.
i am who i am, and the reason to why we're here.
i never meant for things to be this way.
i am so very sorry.
and so, i have sworn my life into the rebuilding of our relationship and promise that things are gonna work out.
even if you can't trust me anymore,
just believe and trust me on this.
we'll get through this.
i promise.
no, sweetheart. i'm not crazy.
i just love you.
a whole lot.
