you do something without the intention of causing serious consequences.
you try to explain that it was not meant that way.
but they just refuse to listen.
seems like no matter what you say won't change their minds.
your explanation is futile.
what then?
you feel it's come to the point of "there's nothing i can do".
so be it?

knocking on the door of an empty house is tiring.
your fists and knuckles start to hurt.
you just feel like sitting there leaning on the door thinking "what am i doing?".

if you can never accept a man's decision when they are truly happy or truly sad,
then which point can you REALLY accept their decision?
'cause decisions seem to be made at the most crucial of all timings, at the crux of a raw emotion.
